Formark Marketing is a well-established sales and merchandising agency based in the Western Cape with associates throughout South Africa, Namibia and the Indian Ocean Islands.
Our mission is to provide an exceptional service in all major retail chains and independent stores providing the link between the retailer and our principals.
We strive to build and maintain good relationships with senior retail managers, chain store buyers, independents as well as the floor staff. Frequent store visits and product trainings are our way of nurturing these relationships.
In order to maximise sales, we continuously endeavour to obtain the best possible positions on the retailers’ shelves, and ensure that displays in promotional courts are of the highest standards. We arrange promotional opportunities and spacing and provide in-store promoters and demos as an add-on service for our principals. Formark Marketing offers merchandising solutions at store level, ensuring a positive, confident interaction between floor staff and customers.
This ‘in-store approach’ we believe to be an important aspect of our sales success.
Shelving Displays
We believe that the shelving display is key.
We negotiate premium shelving positions such as gondola ends, islands and drive aisles. We make sure that dislays in promotional courts are of the highest standards.
We approach in-store shelf merchandising systematically. This means always making sure there is sufficient stock on shelf, that products are packed according to a specified planogram, and that pricing labels are clearly communicated. Our staff increase sales by maximising in-store-presence and ensuring our principals’ brands are neatly placed on the shelf, visible, clean and accessible to customers.
Frequent Reporting
In today’s fast paced retail environment, frequent modern reporting gives our principals valuable insight of their products at store level. A calling cycle and daily contact via direct messaging are conducted in all stores nation-wide to check and ensure that all listed products are continuously stocked, replenished and that product pricing is optimally displayed.
Lasting Relationships
We strive to build and maintain relationships of trust with head office buyers and individual store management. Since our inception, Formark Marketing has built relationships with senior retail managers, chain store buyers, independent owners, and their buyers. Therefore, we are recognised for our customised approach to develop retail solutions. Based on the relationships built over decades, we strive to obtain sales orders and focus on continued on-going replenishment orders, including new product launch presentations. We service general merchandise products only.
Do you sell products to independent stores?
Yes, your product will get a chance to expand its market reach with us. Over the years we have built relationships with many Independent store owners and their buyers. Our portfolio currently covers 200+ stores.
Do you offer in-store promotions?
Yes, we do offer in-store promotions for our current Principals. Our team effectively sells the products through live and dry demonstrations.
